As a result, silver got cheaper in the Delhi bullion market today, selling for Rs 63,474 per kilogram. Silver prices in the Delhi bullion market ended at Rs 63,914 per kilogram a day ago.

The Indian rupee rose 29 paise to 75.31 (provisional) versus the US dollar on Tuesday. Gold was trading at $ 1,861 an ounce on the international market, down 0.5 percent. At the same time, silver was trading at $ 23.65 an ounce, down somewhat. “Spot gold of 24 carat in Delhi has climbed by Rs 32 on the improvement in global gold prices and strengthening of the currency,” said HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel.
