The Prime Minister has also discussed ways to deal with the Kovid-19 epidemic in this regard with government officials, pharmaceutical industry heads, oxygen suppliers, heads of the three armies, etc. Currently, the number of Kovid-19 infected in the country is more than 3 lakhs every day. However, oxygen cylinders, concentrators and other medical aids are beginning to be received from other countries of the world.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with Army Chief General MM Narwane about the epidemic and reviewed the Army’s preparedness. The army chief told the Prime Minister that the army has deployed its medical staff in the service of state governments and is also setting up temporary hospitals in various parts of the country. Prime Minister Modi tweeted, “reviewed the efforts being made by the Indian Army in the war against Kovid-19”.
Record broken again, 3.86 lakh new cases in the country
Amidst the growing havoc of Corona, the number of new cases in the country is increasing every day. As of 12 noon on Thursday, more than 3.86 lakh cases were reported in the country. Every day the record of the previous day is being broken. During the last 24 hours, 3,501 people have died, including 771 from Maharashtra and 395 from Delhi.
