Amid the growing outbreak of Corona, there are comforting news about the ongoing vaccination in the country that the covishield vaccine is safe and its side effects are minimal after vaccination. If you have taken covishield vaccine, then only the symptoms of headache and mild vertigo can be seen in one in four people.
This information is provided in a report published in the research journal Lancet. The study report states that only one in four people is taking a vaccine called Kovishield in India that shows mild and temporary symptoms – such as side effects of headaches and vertigo.
Research into the side effects of this vaccine has been carried out by scientists at King’s College London, UK. According to research, adverse effects of vaccination are most common in the first 24 hours and can last for a day or two.
Researchers who read the Kovid Study App details and analysis showed that the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccine had side effects for the general public. The study also said that the infection rate dropped significantly within 12 to 21 days after taking the first dose of the vaccine. Infection rates dropped by 58 percent in the first dose of Pfizer vaccine and 39 percent in the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine. According to the study, 21 days after taking Pfizer vaccine, the infection rate was reduced by 69 percent and AstraZeneca infection rate by 60 percent.
Professor T Spector of King’s College said the research data would give a positive message to the world that it is safe after vaccination and that the side effects are very small, especially for those 50 years of age who are at high risk of infection. The study is based on the experience of 6,27,383 people who administered the first or second dose of the Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccine between December 8 and March 10.
Researchers have found that studies show that headaches, dizziness, tremors, diarrhea, fever, joint pain, muscle aches, and vomiting after taking the vaccine. Apart from this, it is also common to have pain, swelling and itching when using the vaccine. After taking the vaccine, side effects are usually seen only in people under the age of 55 and women.
